Well people, major news about my car! As of 139,983 miles the original clutch has been removed from the car. This past Friday, May 5^th 2000, I got it back. I was on my to meet a friend on April 20th, I was heading to Wilkes-barre(PA) and the car started to act up. It was revving up to 4 or 5 grand in 5^th gear, and the shift up light was on. Well... my car only has 5 gears... so I pulled over, called home, and dad brought the other car up and we exchanged cars. I got home Friday the 21^st and Dad said he had no problems with it. Saturday came along, and I walked to work... came home to find my car was taken to older brothers (the mechanic). Sunday evening Jay (bro) called and asked parents to come over and help push the car back up the driveway. Nobody believed me something was wrong with it until it was at Jay's place and just sat there and revved up... 1-1 1/2 weeks later (May 1^st) Jay gotta tow trailor and towed it to work to fix it. He finished it on May 5^th, all new clutch... also put a new drivers side axle in. This summer I will get more pics of the car... I plan to pay another $60 bucks and buy a new side mirror for the other side of the car. I'd also like to get the windsheild replaced, as well as the passenger side axle (as older bro says it may need to be replaced soon). I plan to go out today, May 9^th, and try to relearn how to drive a stick... when I started driving my car, the clutch was worn out, so I could just let off anytime and go... now it's sensitive or something (so I'm told). Pray that I don't burn out the clutch... LOL (knock on wood).
